Our Chapter Snapshot

Falcon Growers Plant Sale

Starting in February of each year, the Horticulture class begins to organize the greenhouse to prepare for the plant sale in May. Members will repot plugs, design and build hanging baskets, and maintain inventory. In 2023, the class officially branded themselves as the "Falcon Growers", and built a logo; allowing the capability to offer more than simply flowers, accents, and vegetables in the future.

Community Breakfast

Each year, National Ag Week is celebrated during the third week of March. On National Ag Day of that week, the chapter hosts an annual Community Breakfast at the American Legion. We invite everyone for a free will donation breakfast that is served from 6 to 9 am.

Special Thank You:

For several years, the A-P FFA chapter has made attempts at getting a chapter website up and running. In 2023, thanks to Kelly Eilderts (Technology Director at Aplington-Parkersburg Schools), we were finally able to make it happen. Thank you to Kelly for all his efforts in creating the shell and outlines for this website - it is easy to add information in when the foundation is laid so well! An additional thank you to Boone A&M FFA chapter as they provided a website layout that was practical and functional to model after!
