It is with a great deal of reverence for the authors of the past who documented the stories of the FFA. Whether that is a student, school news editor, local journalist, or any other person involved - the happenings of our chapter's would have been lost. It is truly remarkable what is uncovered when you get to look back and piece together the progress of a chapter throughout the years and decades. Without the Eclipse News Review staff throughout the history of Aplington, Parkersburg, and Aplington-Parkersburg Schools, we would not be able to provide an archive of the incredible history of our chapter.
If anyone reading this was a part of telling these stories - we cannot thank you enough for taking pictures, writing articles, and documenting the happenings of our school and especially FFA chapter throughout the years! A HUGE thank you to the Aplington Public Library, Kothe Memorial Library of Parkersburg, and Kling Memorial Library of Grundy Center for digitizing past newspapers for them to be cataloged and preserved. Without the ability to search in the first place, this project would not have happened. Although every single article will ever be found, and the continuality of the stories will never end... This project is worth the time and effort in preserving and continuing to document Aplington-Parkersburg FFA. Who knows what information of the past... will hold great significance of in the future!
